CASTILLO YGAY GRAN RESERVA 2010
La bodega Marqués de Murrieta refuerza su prestigio con el Castillo Ygay Gran Reserva Especial 2010, presentado este año, que ha sido reconocido como el mejor vino del mundo por Wine Spectator. Para este exigente ranking se catan más de 11.000 vinos de todo el mundo, y esta etiqueta centenaria de la primera bodega de Rioja ha sido la única española en conseguir no solo estar entre los 10 mejores del mundo, sino alzarse con el primer puesto. El comité de cata de la citada publicación ha tenido en cuenta distintos criterios para sus valoraciones como son la calidad, la trayectoria de la bodega, la impecable imagen de sus vinos en todo el mundo, y lo que denominan factor X, un criterio asociado al sentimiento, la pasión y entusiasmo que despierta el vino en los catadores. En el comunicado resaltan que “Por su historia, su carácter y por recordarnos el valor del compromiso, el esfuerzo y la perseverancia, Castillo Ygay 2010 de bodegas Marqués de Murrieta es el merecedor del premio al Mejor Vino del Mundo”. Vicente Dalmau Cebrián-Sagarriga, actual presidente de la bodega, ha logrado con su pasión, liderazgo y entrega que su proyecto tenga presencia en más de 100 países, y se encuentre de nuevo a la cabeza de los mejores vinos del mundo.

The Marqués de Murrieta winery enhances its prestige with this year’s presentation of Castillo Ygay Gran Reserva Especial 2010, ranked as the number one wine in the world by Wine Spectator. To create this ranking, critics tasted over 11,000 wines from all over the world, and this centenary label from the first Rioja winery has been the only Spanish one, not only to make it into the world’s top ten, but to rise up and take the number one spot. The Tasting Committee of the aforementioned publication took into account different criteria for its ratings such as the quality, the trajectory of the winery, the impeccable image of their wines in the world, and what they call the X factor – a criterion associated to the feeling, passion and excitement aroused in the tasters. In the announcement, Wine Spectator stated that, “for its history, its character and for reminding us of the value of commitment, effort and perseverance, Castillo Ygay 2010 from Bodegas Marqués de Murrieta is the deserved winner of the award for Best Wine in the World”. Its current president, Vicente Dalmau Cebrián-Sagarriga, has achieved with his passion, leadership and dedication that their project has a presence in more than 100 countries and is once again at the head of the best wines in the world.
